We Run This A/W15

One of my favourite brands, We Run This, are launching their new A/W15 collection today, so I've collected my top picks and written a little summery of how I would style each piece! You can check out an outfit I posted last autumn featuring a pair of We Run This jeans HERE

The new collection is incredible, including structured silhouettes and flowing lines within the pieces. Simple tailoring and minimalistic detailing feature in all the pieces, which i absolutely love. I am a big fan of the Navy V Neck dress because of the neck tie detailing and the simplicity of styling it.
For staple items I love the grey tee and tailored trousers and I think these pieces are both something everyone should have in their wardrobes!

Below is how I would style each piece, some glam and some casual looks; maybe get a little inspiration on how to wear them before you buy... And I've been able to give my readers a discount on the new collection as well!

The website is werunthisonline.com and to receive the discount, at the checkout, enter LOVEFROMANASTASIA. This will get you 10% off your purchase! The code expires on the 30th of October 2015, so get buying now!

A/W Tones / Payday Wish List

Seeing as payday is round the corner for a lot of people, I thought I'd put this A/W edit / wish list based around my favourite colours for the new season. The key tones I'm seeing and loving are neutrals such as nudes, khaki and greys / monochrome. This is a similar colour pallet to Kanye West's Yeezy Season 2 that he previewed at NYFW last week. Although inspired by the colour pallet of his show, I've picked a few more structured pieces which wouldn't have been featured in his collection.

So for the nudes I've picked a range of flowing or structured silhouettes, like the cross over cami and the oversized camel coat. I've become obsessed with splits & details in clothing and this shows throughout my edit. One of my favourite pieces is the nude/pink leather pencil skirt as it has the texture of the leather and the split adds an interesting detail meaning you could dress it up or down.

For Kahki, I loved the idea of having some body con but pairing it with long flowing pieces. For example no.9 and no.11. The contrast of the two figured created by the clothes is one that I love at the moment as it shows a bit of femininity with a bit of a tom boy look over the top. I'm also a massive fan of structured tops with D Ring detail (no. 12 & 18) as they create so much structure and accentuate the figure.

Greys and monochrome are tones I'm not missing in my wardrobe already but these pieces were too good to miss. Obviously grey jeans are a classic item which can be paired with all of the colours I've chosen for A/W. But again my favourite items are the leather skirt and no.18, the D Ring detail top. A classic bucket bag has to be added to my wish list as they're so chic and obviously so useful.

So there's my payday/ A/W wishlist! I love all the colours I've chosen as they're so simple and can be paired together so easily. I hope this inspired you if you were stuck for new season pieces!

Givenchy SS15

I am absolutely obsessed with the Givenchy SS15 look which featured in their show at New York Fashion week. They've used this style in their previous shows last year, where they first had the challenge of making the jewellery stick to the models face. This year, they knew exactly what they were doing and set the bar much higher.

The makeup and accessories were an exaggerate statement and unique element to the show but also  complimented the mix of delicate nudes and gothic black style pieces. I love the fact that this year there was a lot of new materials and fabrics used; my favourites being the leather mosaic style dress and the victorian inspired lace and fringing.

Although I love the simplistic face jewellery (bottom left) I think the gold and richly embellished full face (top left / bottom right) is my favourite look of the show. The colours of the metal and the detail that has gone into the piece is incredible, and works so well with the slinky cream/gold jumpsuit.

I just had to share this with you all as it has to be my favourite thing to come out of NYFW SS15 so far!

Which Outfit?

I thought I'd post a little re cap of my outfits of the summer, seeing as we're moving into A/W. My personal favourite outfits were no.3, 4, 5 & 7 (from left to right each row.) Which outfit was your favourtie?I definitely ventured into colour more than usual this year which is a new thing for me. Not sure it'll last through the coming months though...I'm thinking the colours will range from nudes to monochrome.Love Holly Anastasia xo

V Fest 2015

This was my outfit on the first day of V Fest; it seemed like the most comfy / festival style outfit to wear on the first day. A few particular aspects of these outfits excites me which made it even better to wear. My fave bits were the details, namely the sunglasses, shirt, cap and trainers. The cap and shirt I borrowed from my boyfriend, who luckily has great style too. I borrowed this shirt to wrap around my waist - I was going to choose a red flannel shirt instead of this but I just loved the blue and green colours in this, and loved the way it worked with the sunglasses as well. The cap is actually a farmer brand so not sure why Toby owns that, but I loved the bold letters on it so just went with it. It also ended up being great for keeping the sun / rain off my face too!The top is just a simple ASOS halter neck, and the shorts are from Motel Rocks. You can read about my full festival outfit thanks to Motel Rocks HERE. I'm also obsessed with these Spitfire sunglasses as I've wanted a pair of mirrored effect sunglasses for ages and these were just perfect. I wore the Adidas trainers for the whole weekend as they were so comfy and easy to wear. They also look incredible which was a bonus! What was your fave festival outfit? If you liked this post I would love it if you could nominate me in the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards HERE! There's more info on how to nominate me HERE as well! Its super easy and I really appreciate it if you nominated me!Love Holly Anastasia xo
