Cool Tones

COAT& SHOES: MISSGUIDED / DRESS & WATCH: ASOS / SCARF: TOPSHOPPHOTOGRAPHY & STYLING: HOLLY ANASTASIA EDWARDSIt's Christmas Eve Eve! I wasn't very excited for Christmas this year but now the decorations are up and my birthday is over, I feel a lot more excited. It's especially good to see my brother as I don't see him that much. Tomorrow I'm working and then going to see the new Star Wars with my family which should be a nice way to spend the day! This outfit is one of my favourites as it's so simple yet classy. I love the neutral tones and the longline silhouette created by the coat. As much as I love wearing warm colours in the winter, the cool tones are just as interesting to wear. This is definitely more of an occasion look and one that I think would definitely work for a christmas party or day look if you dressed it up or down. I also think the natural makeup look is one that goes really well with the outfit as it keeps it really minimalistic, whilst also keeping it a bit glam!I hope you guys are having a great run up to Christmas!Love Holly Anastasia xo

PHOTOGRAPHY & STYLING: HOLLY ANASTASIA EDWARDSCOAT: MISSGUIDED / SHIRT: WAVEN / TSHIRT: ZARA / JEANS: TOPSHOP / TRAINERS (UNSEEN) : NEW BALANCE / WATCH & SUNGLASSES: ASOSFirstly... I just want to say a HUGE thank you to every one of you who reads my blog & supports me in anyway - especially those of you who voted for my blog in the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards! Although I didn't win, I had the most amazing night meeting some gorgeous people and loved supporting them myself. To even be shortlisted was overwhelming and for that I want to say a huge thank you! There's a lot of photos from the night on my Facebook Page here or my Instagram here, if you want to see what I got up to.This outfit was one I actually woke up thinking of today, which was pretty insane. I love an outfit that you just wake up, chuck on and it works. I recently bought this shirt from Wåven with the intention of wearing it to work but I really think it works so incredibly in this casual outfit. The colours of this outfits are my favourite; reminds me of the cool tones of December with a bit of winter sun. Layering is the main thing I focus on in winter as I find its better for warmth so mixing a basic tee with a shirt and a coat means that I have enough layers without it looking off. I love the mix of the grey tones in the coat, shirt, aviators and a simple link into the watch face as well. I think it really brings the outfit together as well.Thank you again for voting for Love From Anastasia in the awards, it means a huge amount to me.Love Holly Anastasia xo

The Jumper

This jumper has become an absolute staple to my wardrobe at the moment and I love it! They say Retail Therapy is the best therapy and I can confidently say that this jumper has made me one happy girl. Every aspect of this piece is a dream, right from the minimalistic roll neck to the clean side splits. The colour is one that I wasn't sure I could pull off but once it was on, I immediately fell in love. I haven't had a jumper or piece of knitwear that I loved for a long time, so to purchase this one from Topshop last month felt so right! Even my mum liked it so it must have been the right choice! One reason this jumper is perfect is because it's perfectly simple. I can so easily create an outfit without having to put much effort into it. The detailing in the roll neck and side splits add interest to a simple piece, which I love as I am such a minimalist. I mostly wear this whole outfit to work but I can see this looking amazing with a leather skirt and incredible maybe that's an outfit to look forward to? I've got lots going on soon and the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards are on tomorrow!! That was a piece of information that shocked me on Thursday as I wasn't prepared for the time to go so fast. Be sure to follow me on Twitter & Instagram to keep up to date with all the details of the night! And a huge thank you to you if you voted and supported me with this venture!Love From Anastasia xo

I can't quite believe the news we've heard yesterday; devastating events. And to such a beautiful city and innocent people. My thoughts at this time are with the families and friends of the victims of these devastating events and Paris as a whole.Sending my love to Paris  LFA xo

PHOTOGRAPHY: BETHANY EDWARDS / STYLING: HOLLY ANASTASIA EDWARDSJACKET: SAINSBURY'S / SHIRT: RIVER ISLAND / SCARF: TOPSHOP / JEANS: NEW LOOK / SHOES: ASOS / BAG: H&MI'm SO in love with this check print shirt; for an impulse buy, it worked so perfectly straight away. It's got very autumnal colours, and I've made it the focus of the outfit by keeping the rest of the pieces simple. This scarf is also a new love of mine. I only had one scarf until now, so I want to expand my collection. Topshop have provided the perfect scarf for winter; it's so big and warm, the perfect cover up.I'm so excited to shoot some more wintery outfits as we're nearly into the christmas season.. or at least a couple of months away! I've got so many events and exciting news coming up that I can't wait to share with you! I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has voted for my blog in the Cosmo Blog Awards! I appreciate it so much! There is still time to vote as the voting closes on Monday 26th October!! So today I've gone back to my classic monochrome roots; I love the combination of a white shirt and black jeans as it's so easy to put together and seems like such a timeless outfit.

I think I may have also found some perfect jeans, on recommendation of my friend, I bought some New Look super skinny jeans and I am amazed at how good they are. They still look a fresh black colour even after many washes and they've kept shape as well! This Topshop shirt is also a dream; I brought it for an interview and fell in love with it instantly. Its so light so perfect to wear in the summer, when these pictures were taken, and winter by layering it up.

The simplicity of a monochrome outfit is one I'll always love and this outfit is especially versatile when it comes to occasions to wear it!

Hope you are all doing well & thank you so much to anyone who has voted for me in the Cosmo Blog Awards! If you haven't yet and want to there is a link HERE with instructions on how to vote!

PHOTOGRAPHY: BETHANY EDWARDS / STYLING: HOLLY ANASTASIA EDWARDSI've been a bit quiet on the blog recently as there has been a lot going on; finding the time to blog between work, sleep and all of the bits in between is quite hard. I think so far, full time work & blogging has worked smoothly, but it has gotten harder with other things and life happening as well. So I hope if you follow my blog regularly you can bare with me whilst I get into more of a routine! These photos were shot in London by my sister on Thursday. We went to preview Rokit Vintage's new A/W15 collection on Brick Lane. This was so exciting as there were so many incredible items and deals on sale. My favourites were two very retro coats, one in a pink and one in a white colour in a soft wool blend! I've posted some of them on my Instagram 'Lovefromanastasia' so if you want to see them, head over! I can't wait to share the full photos as they're some of my favourites. The shirt and scarf were impulse buys but I have fallen deep in love with them both. Such Autumnal colours coming through! I've got a few outfits coming up before I share these full ones with you but I thought I'd give you a little preview first. Just another reminder that you can still vote for me in the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards! Follow the link HERE, go to the second page (Best In Fashion) & choose Love From Anastasia in the list! Thank  you so much to you if you've voted, it means the world.Love Holly Anastasia xo

A/W Makeup Look

Left to right - Peach Passion (Cheek Colour) / Cream Soda (Eye Colour) / Electric Peach (Cheek Simmer) To compliment my A/W tones post, I thought I'd share with you a makeup look  which will go with the outfits nicely. Bit of a different post but I thought I'd mix it up!For this I used my normal make up - Rimmel London foundation, concealer & lipstick. For my contour and eye make up, I used a brand called Majenta Beauty. With nude tones, I love a subtle contour. For this contour I mixed the shades 'Peach Passion' & 'Electric Peach' from the cheek range to create a blush / contour. To do my eyes, I used 'Cream Soda' eye colour on the inner corners of my eyes and on my brow bone. On my eyelids I used Electric Peach and to create a subtle smokey eye, I blended in Peach Passion on the outer corners of my eye.Majenta beauty have such incredible products, which are so blendable. They're really soft and really pigmented so they're so nice to use. This look compliments the subtle tones coming in for A/W and I've been wearing so much as its so simple to achieve.Love Holly Anastasia xo

Kahki & Snakeskin

PHOTOGRAHY: GIDEON EDWARDS / STYLING: HOLLY ANASTASIA EDWARDSJACKET: TU / SHIRT: NEW LOOK / BODYSUIT: YAS (VIA ASOS) / JEANS: TOPSHOP / SHOES: SHOE ZONEThis is such a casual outfit and quite autumnal too; khaki is one colour I'm trying to incorporate into my wardrobe more. I think the shoes are my favourite aspect of the outfit as they really stand out and make a statement. I've never really been into shoes with prints on and to be honest most of my shoes are black or monochrome (obviously) so having shoes that have pattern seemed so alien to me. I really loved having that extra detailing to my outfit. These slip ons are from Shoe Zone and are still on the website, so if you're looking for autumn shoes or print shoes I'd recombined these for casual wear. I love the contrast between the kahki, black and snake skin colours but I think the layering is another thing I love about this combination. Bodysuits are my new favourite thing, I love wearing them underneath jeans or skirts to go out or casual wear; they're so versatile. This YAS bodysuit is one of my favourites as it fits perfectly and is also ribbed, making it more detailed. Today I'm off to Norwich to visit my friend at Uni which should be so good! Not a fan of the early 4am start. I will definitely be wearing these shoes on the way though, I'm officially obsessed...Love Holly Anastasia xo

We Run This A/W15

One of my favourite brands, We Run This, are launching their new A/W15 collection today, so I've collected my top picks and written a little summery of how I would style each piece! You can check out an outfit I posted last autumn featuring a pair of We Run This jeans HERE

The new collection is incredible, including structured silhouettes and flowing lines within the pieces. Simple tailoring and minimalistic detailing feature in all the pieces, which i absolutely love. I am a big fan of the Navy V Neck dress because of the neck tie detailing and the simplicity of styling it.
For staple items I love the grey tee and tailored trousers and I think these pieces are both something everyone should have in their wardrobes!

Below is how I would style each piece, some glam and some casual looks; maybe get a little inspiration on how to wear them before you buy... And I've been able to give my readers a discount on the new collection as well!

The website is and to receive the discount, at the checkout, enter LOVEFROMANASTASIA. This will get you 10% off your purchase! The code expires on the 30th of October 2015, so get buying now!

A/W Tones / Payday Wish List

Seeing as payday is round the corner for a lot of people, I thought I'd put this A/W edit / wish list based around my favourite colours for the new season. The key tones I'm seeing and loving are neutrals such as nudes, khaki and greys / monochrome. This is a similar colour pallet to Kanye West's Yeezy Season 2 that he previewed at NYFW last week. Although inspired by the colour pallet of his show, I've picked a few more structured pieces which wouldn't have been featured in his collection.

So for the nudes I've picked a range of flowing or structured silhouettes, like the cross over cami and the oversized camel coat. I've become obsessed with splits & details in clothing and this shows throughout my edit. One of my favourite pieces is the nude/pink leather pencil skirt as it has the texture of the leather and the split adds an interesting detail meaning you could dress it up or down.

For Kahki, I loved the idea of having some body con but pairing it with long flowing pieces. For example no.9 and no.11. The contrast of the two figured created by the clothes is one that I love at the moment as it shows a bit of femininity with a bit of a tom boy look over the top. I'm also a massive fan of structured tops with D Ring detail (no. 12 & 18) as they create so much structure and accentuate the figure.

Greys and monochrome are tones I'm not missing in my wardrobe already but these pieces were too good to miss. Obviously grey jeans are a classic item which can be paired with all of the colours I've chosen for A/W. But again my favourite items are the leather skirt and no.18, the D Ring detail top. A classic bucket bag has to be added to my wish list as they're so chic and obviously so useful.

So there's my payday/ A/W wishlist! I love all the colours I've chosen as they're so simple and can be paired together so easily. I hope this inspired you if you were stuck for new season pieces!
